Halvar Roy Kessey was born at Bourke NSW on 1 April 1905 and died in Wollongong NSW on 11 December 1981. He married Ena Ruby Murphy at Bourke on 29 October 1928. He is buried in Wollongong Lawn Cemetery at Kembla Grange, NSW.
